For the most part, we don’t really see how Bolin misses or thinks of his parents. I like to think that while Mako was closest to their dad, Bolin was closest to their mom. And although Bolin’s memories of his parents have faded over time, he can still remember her long hair, her smile, and how she always smelled of this certain special flower.

There’s about this that is just so lovely in the softness of the movement, the gliding of the hands through the air, the inherent grace in it that is different from other types of bending, even water.

And it’s just amazing to me how delicate and intricate the training devices made by the Air Nomads are, as if to teach restraint, which makes perfect sense when you think about airbending and the Air Nomad’s beliefs. 

And looking at Aang’s expression you can see the gentleness comes easy to him, it is a part of who he is, something that has been drilled into his very being, and he is so composed and relaxed.

And then you see how hard Korra is concentrating, trying to keep her strength in check, because the point is not to destroy, not to create giant gusts of wind but to conciously direct the air in a fluid and controlled manner.

And idk why but this just gives me so many feelings because Aang is one of my few forever guys and I love him for how he sticks to beliefs which are such an intrinsic part of his being you can see it how he moves, how he bends. And I already love Korra so much, this loud and brash and reckless young woman who is unafraid to jump right into things, who told people that they “gotta deal with” the fact that she’s the Avatar when she was a kid, but still has moments of doubt and uncertainty because no matter how confident she is being the Avatar is a huge responsibility for anyone.

But she doesn’t give up and to see her trying so hard at what comes naturally to Aang, just like Aang struggled with what comes naturally to her (standing your ground, not being afraid of facing others) just gives me so many fucking feelings. JUST LOOK AT THESE TWO PRECIOUS AVATARS.
